From Glittery Nights to her Own Salon: How Essential Nails Graduate Erin Built her Dream Business Around Motherhood
Erin Esty, a nail technician based in the UK, has an inspirational story of following her passion and building her business around being a busy mum of three boys.
After having her second son, Erin discovered a love for nail art and spent late nights perfecting designs while her newborn slept. 'I'd be sat at my desk covered in glitter and in my element'. With encouragement from her partner, she decided to turn her hobby into a career and qualified with Essential Nails in August 2016, gaining distinctions in further courses.
Erin named her new business 'Glamour Sprinkles Nails' and started out mobile, juggling client appointments around her family commitments, bringing her services direct to clients in the Tunbridge Wells area. As her confidence grew, so did her reputation, gaining regulars through word of mouth and social media.
Erin’s passion and perseverance paid off in a big way this year when she was named NBL Nail Technician of the Year South East and also Overall Winner - a huge accomplishment.
